On July 4, 2019, a China-Russia East Line Natural Gas Pipeline Project Construction Promotion Meeting was held in Faku County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Representatives from Liaohe Oil Construction, Pipeline Bureau, Daqing Oil Construction, Xinjiang Oil Construction, China-Russia East Line Project Department, Pipeline Design Institute, and multi-party testing companies attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
As the China-Russia East Route Natural Gas Pipeline Project is being ignited and welded at various points and sections in Faku County, Liaoning Province, the middle section of the China-Russia East Route Natural Gas Pipeline Project has fully begun construction.
The China-Russia East Line Natural Gas Pipeline Project is the first world-class natural gas pipeline project built in my country with a super-large diameter of 1422mm, X80 high steel grade, and 12 MPa high pressure grade. It can transport 38 billion cubic meters from Russia every year. Natural gas, equivalent to one-seventh of my country's annual gas consumption in 2018. The middle section of the project starts from Changling County, Jilin Province and ends in Yongqing County, Hebei Province, with a new pipeline of 1110 kilometers. The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2020.
The middle section of the China-Russia East Route Natural Gas Pipeline, a major China-Russia energy cooperation project, started construction today. After the pipeline is completed, it will effectively alleviate the natural gas shortage in Northeast China and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is estimated that after these gas volumes replace coal burning, they can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 163.78 million tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 1.82 million tons, nitrogen oxide emissions by 460,000 tons, and dust emissions by 840,000 tons every year, which will improve the air situation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region plays a positive role.
The line of this project adopts a low-temperature-30 ℃ fully automatic welding process, and the station adopts a low-temperature-45 ℃ welding process, as well as AUT, PAUT TOFD, DR and high-power ray nondestructive testing technologies.
Kumagu Company provided 17 fully automatic pipeline welding units for the middle section of the China-Russia East Line Pipeline Project, and dispatched Kumagu Company's technical backbone team to assist in the construction of this project. It is hoped that all participating personnel will pay close attention to project quality, strive for nationally excellent projects, have the courage to explore and innovate, build intelligent pipelines, strengthen overall coordination, and jointly build energy channels, ensure that construction tasks are completed on schedule, and make greater contributions to ensuring national energy security.
